Webhooks let Lyonga tell your server when something changes, such as a payment succeeding. They are the most reliable way to update your orders.
Best practice
- Verify the signature on every webhook before trusting it.
- Respond with a 2xx status quickly, then do slower work in the background.
- Handle the same event arriving more than once without double-processing it.
- Do not rely on events arriving in order. Check the current status if in doubt.
If your endpoint is unavailable, delivery is retried. You can also check a payment's status through the API at any time.
